Q2. How did the course, weekly readings and discussions contribute to your digital teacher identity?
Q3. How did you (if you did) connect these to your practicum experience? and/or How do you plan to connect these to your future teaching experiences?
Q1: Blended Language Learning is defined here as a structured blend of online and face-toface learning, combining the any time/pace/place advantages of online materials with the motivational effects of group learning and teacher support. The concept of blended learning is not new. Combining (blending) multiple learning methodologies and strategies is not a new concept. Distance learning courses have long used a mix of self-access content (print/video/TV/radio) and face-to-face/telephone support to provide blended learning. Second one is, giving effective online feedback is a key educational skill for a variety of reasons. The online educator has the potential to design a learning environment that is focused on success and improvement, third one is formative assessment from distance is hard but not impossible, and we must still check for understanding and provide useful comments. The tactics we employ will differ from those used in the classroom in terms of appearance and sound. And fourth one is Innovative Digital Tools for Four Language Skills, The most of L2 instructors design their courses to improve the four skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Concepts of pragmatic, sociolinguistic, and intercultural competence are absent from this perspective of language. Despite the fact that modern linguistic theories advocate for a more complex, interactive, and integrated model of language,
Q2: First of all, this course allowed me to learn about many new applications that I may encounter in online education, and at the same time, while I was having various conversations with my classmate about distance education, I realized that my speaking skill improved, we gained a lot of information about distance learning and accessed good information that we can use in the future, At first, I didn't know that there were such complicated subjects in distance education, then I realized that there are many things that technology can use in education. I think that we need to be intertwined with technology and use it in a beneficial way in order to become a teacher in the future.
Q3: I had the opportunity to use a few information I learned from this course in my internship class, I knew that we had to be intertwined with technology at the same time because my internship was distance, I used a few useful applications and I saw how much the students like diversity. I have found information that can provide many benefits in my future teaching life, but it is better to try and see them, of course, I think that we need to be intertwined with technology and use it in a beneficial way in order to become a teacher in the future. In order to be a better teacher, we need to keep up with innovations and at the same time, we need to continue to improve ourselves by adding a different knowledge to our knowledge every day
